EAD 230008-00-0106 - Double twisted steel wire mesh reinforced or not with ropes
In short
EAD 230008-00-0106 is the EOTA European Assessment Document for double twisted steel wire mesh reinforced or not with ropes. Amstelfy Technical Solutions tests double twisted hexagonal mesh (gabion/rockfall mesh) against this EAD in its ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory in Amstelveen (NAC-037-TL): tensile strength of mesh and wire, punch test and corrosion protection. The test reports follow the EAD clause structure so a Technical Assessment Body can use them directly for the European Technical Assessment; Amstelfy does not issue ETAs itself.

Route to market
Products covered by an EAD are placed on the EU market with a European Technical Assessment issued by a Technical Assessment Body (TAB), followed by the AVCP tasks of a Notified Body and the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance and CE marking. Amstelfy performs the assessment tests, prepares the test reports in the EAD's clause structure and coordinates the test plan with the TAB; Amstelfy does not issue ETAs.
