About the Role
We are seeking a Certification Officer to join our ISO 17065 accredited certification body. You will manage the certification process for construction products, conduct factory production control (FPC) audits, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable harmonized standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage product certification files from application to decision
- Plan and conduct FPC audits at manufacturing facilities across Europe
- Review test reports and technical documentation for certification decisions
- Monitor changes in harmonized standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain impartiality and confidentiality in all certification activities
- Participate in accreditation assessments and surveillance audits
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in product certification or quality auditing
- Knowledge of CPR, AVCP systems, and harmonized European standards
- Auditing qualification (e.g., ISO 19011, lead auditor)
- Willingness to travel within Europe (approx. 30%)
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with ISO 17065 certification body operations
- Knowledge of FPC requirements per specific hENs
- Understanding of ETA/EAD processes
