Amsterdam, April 2026 — Amstelfy Technical Solutions has been officially listed as an Accredited Certification Body by The International EPD System (EnvironDec) , the world's leading programme for third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). This recognition reinforces our role as an independent verification partner for manufacturers seeking credible, internationally recognised environmental declarations for their construction products.
About The International EPD System
The International EPD System is a global programme operator for Type III environmental declarations in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804. It provides a transparent framework that allows manufacturers worldwide to communicate the verified environmental performance of their products across the full lifecycle — from raw material extraction to end of life — based on harmonised Product Category Rules (PCRs) and the programme's General Programme Instructions (GPI).
Only Accredited Certification Bodies and approved Individual Verifiers are authorised to verify EPDs under the International EPD System. Inclusion on the official list of Accredited Certification Bodies therefore signals that an organisation has demonstrated the technical competence, impartiality, and accreditation required to perform EPD verification at international level.
Our Accreditation
Amstelfy is listed as an Accredited Certification Body under the National Accreditation Center (NAC), an ILAC MRA signatory. Our verification activities are carried out in accordance with ISO/IEC 17029 — the international standard for validation and verification bodies — and the requirements of the International EPD System.
EPDs verified by Amstelfy are recognised within the International EPD System and accepted across markets that rely on EnvironDec-published declarations, including public procurement, green building rating schemes, and lifecycle assessment tools used by architects, designers, and specifiers worldwide.
Being listed as an Accredited Certification Body by The International EPD System is a clear confirmation of the technical depth and independence we bring to environmental verification work.
What This Means for Manufacturers
- Internationally recognised EPD verification — verified declarations that can be published on the EnvironDec library and accepted across global markets.
- Alignment with the revised CPR — environmental information is moving from a voluntary differentiator to a regulatory expectation under Regulation (EU) 2024/3110.
- One technical partner — combining performance testing, certification, ETA support, and EPD verification under a single accredited organisation.
- Verification against EN 15804+A2 — the latest core rules for construction product EPDs.
A Strategic Step in Our Sustainability Roadmap
This recognition follows Amstelfy's recent membership of ECO Platform AISBL and the European Rebar Council (ERC), both of which reinforce our growing engagement in the sustainability and composites sectors. Together, these affiliations confirm a deliberate strategy: to position Amstelfy as a knowledgeable partner for manufacturers navigating the technical, regulatory, and environmental dimensions of placing construction products on the European and international market.
